Xetra – better prices for private investors
What does Xetra price improvement offer you?
Always the best Xetra price
You benefit from the best prices: narrower spreads between bid and ask prices reduce your trading costs and thus increase your returns. In addition, transaction costs are reduced for all participating banks and brokers, which they can pass on to you in the form of lower costs.
Simply select Xetra in your order form and secure this price advantage every time you trade stocks, ETFs, and ETPs. As a private investor, when you choose Xetra as your trading venue, you automatically receive the best price on Europe's most liquid trading venue—or at least the current Xetra price. This means you always have the advantage.
What can I do to get the best Xetra prices?
How do you get the best Xetra price?
It's simple: when placing your order, select Xetra as the trading venue and you will automatically receive the best price.
1. Select Xetra as the trading venue in your order form.
2. You will then receive at least the current Xetra price or an improved price.
3. Enjoy lower costs and higher returns.
How does it work?
This is made possible by a new market maker role that provides targeted liquidity for private investors in the Xetra order book by offering buy and sell limits that can be within the trading ranges. This means that orders from private investors are executed at least at the current Xetra price or better.
In addition, the transaction fees for these executions, which the participating banks pay to the stock exchange, are reduced, which also benefits investors. The prerequisite is that the bank/broker participates in the new service.
Since its launch, private investor orders in ETFs with an order volume of over 300 million have already benefited from price improvements. The offer applies to all approximately 900 stocks and 3,000 ETFs and ETPs traded on Xetra.
