UBS expands its ETF offering, providing investors with exposure to emerging markets excluding China.
29 August 2023. FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). A new exchange-traded fund from UBS Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and via the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since Tuesday.
The UBS ETF (LU) MSCI Emerging Markets ex China UCITS ETF allows investors* to invest in a broadly diversified portfolio of currently 666 large and medium-sized companies domiciled in emerging markets. The benchmark index comprises 23 of the 24 emerging markets defined by MSCI, excluding China. This investment covers 85 percent of each country's market capitalization. The highest weighted countries include Taiwan, India and South Korea. The main sectors are information technology and financials.
