Responsible action and social commitment are firmly anchored in the corporate culture of the W&W Group and have a long tradition. This understanding goes back to the foundation philosophy of the Wüstenrot Foundation as the main shareholder of W&W AG and shapes long-term stable corporate management. The ESG approach of the W&W Group places particular focus on reducing the CO₂ footprint and promoting sustainable investments.

Ecological, social and governance criteria (ESG) are integrated into the business strategy in order to create long-term value for customers and society. Initiatives include the promotion of energy-efficient housing projects and the development of sustainable insurance products. Human resource development is promoted by a modern working environment and targeted training programs in order to ensure long-term competitiveness.

The W&W Group has voluntarily joined the Principles for Sustainable Insurance (PSI) and the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in order to involve sustainability even more into business activities and to continually develop it. In this context, capital investments are becoming increasingly sustainable, with an increased focus on investments in economically and ecologically sustainable projects. The signing of the Diversity Charter complements these measures and underlines the W&W Group's commitment to a diverse corporate culture.
