iShares offers access to the 100 largest UK companies with a hedge of the pound against the euro.
23 August 2024, FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). A new exchange-traded fund from iShares has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since today.
The iShares Core FTSE 100 UCITS ETF EUR Hedged (Acc) is a passively managed fund that offers direct exposure to companies in the FTSE 100 index while hedging the currency risk against the euro.
The FTSE 100 is the most important UK share index and represents the 100 largest companies by market capitalisation and highest turnover on the London Stock Exchange. The most strongly represented sectors include financials, consumer goods, industrials and healthcare. The three largest companies in the index are currently Astrazeneca, Shell and HSBC Holdings.
