20 July 2021. FRANKFURT (Deutsche Börse). Saturna Capital's first Active ETF has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt via HANetf's white-label platform since Monday.
The Saturna Sustainable ESG Equity HANzero™ UCITS ETF - Acc gives investors access to a global portfolio of mid- and large-cap companies with strong balance sheets, sustainable growth and low leverage. The focus is on best-in-class companies in terms of ESG criteria.
Companies with significant earnings from controversial sectors such as the manufacture of weapons, gambling or the extraction of fossil fuels are excluded.
In addition, any carbon emissions are offset through the issuance of carbon credits to make this investment climate neutral. The emission certificates earned are used to finance green projects to reduce CO2 and greenhouse gases.
The weighting of a stock is limited to a maximum of five per cent and the share of companies from emerging markets to a maximum of twenty per cent.
