Xtrackers provides exposure to emerging market companies that are compliant with the EU's Climate Change CTB.
30 October 2023. FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). Since Monday, a new exchange-traded fund by Xtrackers is tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.
With the Xtrackers MSCI Emerging Markets Climate Transition UCITS ETF, investors have the possibility to invest in large and medium-sized companies from emerging markets across the world. The composition of the portfolio considers the minimum standards of the EU Climate Transition Benchmark (CTB). Its goal is to achieve climate neutrality by the year 2050 through an annual reduction of carbon emissions by 7 percent.
The composition of the portfolio is broadly diversified and contains more than 840 companies. By region, China, Taiwan, India and South Korea are most strongly represented. In terms of sector allocation, financials, IT and consumer goods represent about 65 per cent of the investment universe.
