iShares offers access to a broadly diversified portfolio in line with the Paris Climate Agreement.
12 January 2024. FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). Since Friday, a new exchange-traded fund from iShares has been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.
The iShares MSCI World Paris-Aligned Climate UCITS ETF tracks the performance of the MSCI World Climate Change Paris Aligned Select Index. The fund invests in over 600 companies from developed countries that align their carbon emissions with the Paris Climate Agreement. The broadly diversified investment is primarily aimed at investors who want to reduce climate risks.
The benchmark index, which is based on the MSCI World Index, selects and weights companies with the aim of halving carbon intensity compared to the parent index and achieving an additional annual reduction in CO2 intensity of 7 per cent.
