New equity ETF: companies in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sector
iShares offers broad exposure to blockchain and cryptocurrency companies with a new equity ETF.
19 October 2022. FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). A new Exchange Traded Fund issued by iShares has been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt since Wednesday.
The iShares Blockchain Technology UCITS ETF offers investors exposure to global companies operating in the blockchain ecosystem. The focus is on companies whose core business is the research, implementation, development, and deployment of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies and applications. Also considered are manufacturers of graphics processors necessary for the validation (mining) of blocks on the blockchain network.
