Selection indices: Temporary adjustments in the DAX due to a spin-off

On 18 September, AUMOVIO will be included in the DAX on a one-time basis in order to transparently reflect the spin-off from Continental.

16 September 2025. Frankfurt (STOXX). STOXX Ltd., the index entitiy of Deutsche Börse Group, today announced an unscheduled adjustment to the DAX. Following the spin-off of AUMOVIO from Continental AG, an adjustment to the index is necessary.

AUMOVIO will be included in the DAX for one day on 18 September, 2025. This adjustment ensures that the index remains representative for investors. The DAX will therefore be calculated with 41 stocks for one day.

In accordance with Rule 8.4 of the DAX Equity Index Calculation Guide (Spin-offs), the free float factor and the number of shares with which AUMOVIO will be included in the index are determined by the shares of Continental AG in the index and by the spin-off ratio.

AUMOVIO will be removed from the DAX again at the close of trading on Xetra on 18 September, 2025.
