Access point
Access point to Deutsche Börse’s IT network
Access points connect customers’ front-end systems to the backbone system of Deutsche Börse’s IT network and beyond that to the exchange’s back-end systems where the data is processed. Thus, they act as access nodes for Deutsche Börse Group customers to the Group’s global IT network. Access points are always configured redundantly and installed in two separate locations for enhanced disaster tolerance.
Our glossary explains important financial terms and should not leave any questions unanswered. However, if you are missing a definition, please write to us at redaktion@deutsche-boerse.com. We will then include the term if possible.
