Rheinmetall to be included in DAX

Rheinmetall will become part of the DAX as of 20 March, Fresenius Medical Care, Jenoptik and HENSOLDT of the MDAX and VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie, Software AG and Wüstenrot & Württembergische of the SDAX.
 

3 March 2023. FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). Stoxx Ltd, Deutsche Börse's global index subsidiary, has announced the new composition of the DAX index family with effect from 20 March 2023. 

Changes in the DAX

Rheinmetall replaces Fresenius Medical Care in the DAX. 

Changes in the MDAX

Fresenius Medical Care, Jenoptik and HENSOLDT join the MDAX, Rheinmetall, VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie and Software AG leave the index.

Changes in the SDAX

VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie, Software AG and Wüstenrot & Württembergische join HENSOLDT, Jenoptik and CropEnergies in the SDAX.

Changes in the TecDAX

Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG replaces Varta in the TecDAX.

The DAX, MDAX, SDAX and TecDAX selection indices represent the largest companies on the Regulated Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. They are selected according to the market capitalisation of the free float and reviewed every three months.
According to the rules and regulations, the criteria Regular Exit, Regular Entry, Fast Exit and Fast Entry are applied in March.

The next date for the scheduled review of the DAX index family is 5 June 2023.
