Schatz future

Standardised futures contract on a short-term bond issued by the German federal government.

The Schatz future is traded on the Eurex® exchange. The underlying instrument is a notional bond that represents a basket of deliverable bonds with an interest rate of six percent and a remaining maturity of between 1.75 and 2.25 years. The value of a Schatz future contract is €100,000.
