As of November 29, investors will be able to trade equities, ETFs and ETNs as well as mutual funds on the Frankfurt trading floor until 10 p.m. The extension allows, for example, to react to events on the U.S. markets in the late evening and to take advantage of exchange trading.
The basis for the extension is Eurex Clearing's new securities clearing platform C7 SCS, which will be launched in September 2021. As a result, late trading of equities, ETFs and ETPs as well as mutual funds with central counterparty will be offered until 10 p.m. for the first time in Germany.
- Trading on Xetra runs from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- The opening auction takes place from 8:50 a.m.; the closing auction from 5:30 p.m.
