Freiverkehrsausschuss (Admissions Committee for the Unofficial Market)

Exchange committee in charge of deciding whether to admit securities to the Unofficial Market (Freiverkehr)

The Admissions Committee for the Unofficial Market can refuse an application for admission to the Unofficial Market if the applicant has not taken sufficient steps to create a market for the security, or if the listing of a security in the Unofficial Market would undermine investor protection or run counter to the interests of the general investing public.

Regulations on the work of the Admissions Office for the Unofficial Market are contained in the Guidelines for the Unofficial Market, in the Rules and Regulations of the respective stock exchange, as well as in the Stock Exchange Act, section 78.
