Price addendum

Codes attached to the quotation for a security, indicating the extent to which the exchange broker was able to match the orders in the order book when determining the price of a security; they were used in floor trading up until 2011.

With the migration of trading to the fully electronic Xetra® trading platform, use of the price addenda applicable until that time was discontinued in May 2011. Only a small number of price details are still used today.

Our glossary explains important financial terms and should not leave any questions unanswered. However, if you are missing a definition, please write to us at redaktion@deutsche-boerse.com. We will then include the term if possible.
