New WisdomTree ETF on Xetra: Cyber security

WisdomTree offers exposure to companies in the network security industry with ESG filters. 

28 January 2021. FRANKFURT (Deutsche Börse). A new exchange traded fund issued by WisdomTree has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.

With the WisdomTree Cybersecurity UCITS ETF - USD Acc, investors invest in companies from the cyber security sector. In addition, a sustainability filter is applied. The companies must comply with internationally recognised standards of the United Nations and the OECD. Significant business activities in the areas of tobacco, weapons or thermal coal lead to exclusion from the index. For inclusion in the index, companies are also assessed because of their development work in the field of cyber security and their revenue growth over the last three years. The latter must be at least seven per cent. The sum of stocks with an individual weighting of more than five per cent may not exceed 37.5 per cent of the total portfolio. The index always consists of at least 25 companies.

The product offering in Deutsche Börse's XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,626 ETFs. With this selection and an average monthly trading volume of around €16.5 billion, Xetra is the leading trading venue for ETFs in Europe.
