Franklin Templeton provides exposure to emerging market equities whose issuers are consistent with the transition to a low-carbon economy.
10 March 2023. FRANKFURT (Börse Frankfurt). Since Friday, a new exchange-trading fund issued by Franklin Templeton has been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.
The Franklin MSCI Emerging Markets Paris Aligned Climate UCITS ETF gives investors access to a broadly diversified portfolio of emerging market companies aligned with the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Companies that have a positive impact on the climate are overweight. Companies with a negative carbon footprint and exposed to the risks of climate change are underweight.
The investment objective is to reduce the weighting of companies that are classified as strong CO2 issuers.
